NBC ha liderado la noche gracias a la liga 'NFL Kickoff Game'. En concreto, anotó 7,2 puntos de rating y más de veinte millones de espectadores. Sin embargo, estos datos son mucho más bajos que el año anterior que consiguió 8,5 puntos de rating. Asimismo, la previa, 'Football Night in America', logró 4,4 puntos de rating y más de trece millones de espectadores.
El final de temporada de 'Battle of the Network Stars', en ABC, no convenció y se consagró como la tercera opción de su franja horaria con 0,6 puntos de rating. En FOX, la reposición de 'Beat Shazam' (0,8) empeoró 0,5 puntos de rating y 'Love Connection' (0,6) bajó siete décimas con respecto a la semana pasada.
